The White Standard is a diffuse reflectance surface used as a reference in reflectance measurements.

Two types of surfaces are available:

  • Fotolon – material developed in Instytut Fotonowy, based on PTFE,  similar properties as Spectralon,
  • BaSO4 .

The White Standard is held in a small, convenient metal container.
